The START Program is a 10-week program for aspiring Black entrepreneurs and early-stage founders with the ambition of scaling products and services. Gain access to resources that help build confidence and skills needed to elevate business success. This program is open to all Black entrepreneurs in Atlantic Canada with a focus on knowledge sharing and networking for business growth.

Program Objectives

  • To inspire new Black entrepreneurs to build purposeful and successful values-driven businesses.
  • To share knowledge of tools, methods and best practices to run a business.
  • To connect Black entrepreneurs with each other across Atlantic Canada.
  • To deliver practical training and education workshops that build learning and understanding.
  • To develop a positive perspective of Afrocentricity in business.

  • Self identify as a Black person
  • Be based in Atlantic Canada
