The energy industry is evolving, creating new opportunities for technologies and solutions that change how energy is produced, stored, distributed, and consumed.
Some of those solutions will come from advances in renewable energy, battery storage, electrification, and next-generation infrastructure. Others will come from applying AI, software, data, and emerging technologies to improve grid reliability, reduce energy consumption, optimize operations, and make cleaner energy more accessible. There is also growing potential for new products, services, and commercial models that help businesses and communities adopt more sustainable and efficient energy systems.
But building a scalable venture in energy takes more than a promising solution. It requires understanding industry needs, customer demand, and the realities of bringing new technologies to market.
The Tribe Innovation Hub: Energy Stream connects emerging founders with industry expertise, customer discovery, and practical venture development to help them identify meaningful challenges, validate their solutions, and build toward commercialization.
Whether you're developing new energy technology or bringing a fresh approach to the sector, this program is built to help you move forward.
The Energy Stream follows four connected phases designed to help founders understand the sector, identify meaningful challenges, develop solutions, and assess their commercial potential.
01 — Discover
Explore how the energy economy operates, the technologies shaping its future, and the needs of its customers, operators, and stakeholders.
02 — Validate
Engage with potential customers and industry stakeholders, investigate existing solutions, and test assumptions about the scale, urgency, and commercial significance of a problem.
03 — Develop
Design or refine your solution, establish an initial commercial model, and evaluate what it would take to develop and deliver it.
04 — Expand
Strengthen your commercialization strategy, understand relevant funding and industry requirements, and define the milestones needed to move your venture into its next stage.
