We bring founders and ecosystem partners together to inspire connection, share resources, and highlight opportunities to help advance racialized entrepreneurs and leaders.

Capital
We support our founders through Consultant Advisory Services (CAS) Grants and Cash Grants. To date, we've distributed over $200K in grant funding directly to racialized entrepreneurs (i.e: cash disbursements).

What happens when I join Tribe
When you join, you’ll immediately be prompted to onboard to our community platform by creating a profile. You’ll be able to identify yourself as an entrepreneur, a professional, or a student, and then asked to fill out details that are relevant to your profile. For example, if you’re an entrepreneurs, you’ll be asked to fill in details like your business name, years in business, goals, and more. The more information we have, the better we can direct you to services that are the right fit for your current needs. Then, once you’re in, you’ll be presented with a space where you can access on-demand courses, jobs and scholarship listings, fellow founders, and the Tribe team.
What types of startups do you support?
We support entrepreneurs and businesses of all sizes. Whether you’re in the ideation phase of entrepreneurship (including still contemplating whether or not the journey is something for you), the build phase where you’ve got an idea you’ve already started to execute on, or the growth phase where you’re ready to take your business to the next level—we can help! what networking opportunities do you provide?
Networking and nurturing community is at the heart of what we do at Tribe. We’re all about bringing people together, building relationships, and looking for ways that we can help one another succeed. As such, we make networking a part of every event or initiative we host. We put on regular socials, pitch competitions, and virtual and hybrid workshops and info sessions. On average, there are at least two opportunities per month to network with other founders.
Does Tribe provide business funding?
Through programs like the Tribe Start Small Grant powered by Emera, and support offered through Consultant Advisory Services (CAS) grants, we are able to provide specific resources to assist business owners like you to upskill and grow your business.
