The Objective

Racialized queer founders are often overlooked in mainstream entrepreneurship spaces—not because they lack ideas, but because the system wasn’t built with them in mind.

Out East exists to change that.

Powered by the Canadian Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce (CGLCC), this program helps racialized 2SLGBTQIA+ founders in Atlantic Canada explore entrepreneurship through community, financial literacy, and identity-affirming support. No jargon. No gatekeeping. Just the tools, spaces, and guidance to help you build something real.

Whether you’re starting with a spark or ready to grow something bigger, Out East offers a place to belong—and a path forward.

Info Session

Missed the live info session? Don’t worry — you can still catch the replay from Tuesday, August 26. In the session, we walk you through what to expect from the program, answer common questions, and hold space to explore what support might be most meaningful as you consider entrepreneurship. You’ll also get a glimpse of the community you’ll be joining — because this isn’t just a program, it’s a space to connect.
